Terms and Conditions of Use for Weezdraw
1. General Information
1. The promoter is Weezdraw Ltd, Carlyle House 235-237 Vauxhall Bridge Road, Ground Floor, London, United Kingdom, SW1V 1EJ.
2. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website Weezdraw.com and participation in all competitions operated by Weezdraw Ltd.
3. By using our website or entering any competition, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
4. Weezdraw Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the website and will take effect immediately.
2. Eligibility
1. Participants must be 18 years or older to enter any competition.
2. Employees of Weezdraw Ltd, and anyone professionally associated with the competition are not eligible to participate.
3. Each participant is allowed to maintain only one account. The creation or use of multiple accounts may result in disqualification and cancellation of all associated accounts and entries.
3. Prize and Conversion to Bitcoin
1. The prize amount is announced in US Dollars (USD). The fiduciary value of the announced prize remains fixed and will not change.
2. The fixed amount in USD will be converted into Bitcoin (BTC) based on the Bitcoin exchange rate at the time the winner is determined.
3. The volume of Bitcoin awarded will fluctuate based on the live Bitcoin exchange rate, but the USD value of the prize will remain constant.
4. The Bitcoin prize will be transferred to the winner's wallet no later than five (5) days after the date of the draw, provided that:
- The winner has communicated their Bitcoin wallet address.
- The winner has successfully completed identity verification and demonstrated compliance with the participation rules.
5. Weezdraw Ltd reserves the right to substitute the prize with a cash prize of equal or greater value.
4. Entry Process
1. To enter a competition, participants must:
- Purchase a ticket via the website.
- Pay the ticket price depending on the prize draw
- Answer a skill-based question correctly.
2. A ticket purchase is only valid once payment is confirmed and a receipt is issued via email.
3. Each ticket purchase is considered final. Refunds are not available unless the competition is cancelled by Weezdraw Ltd.
4. Participants are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information provided, including their contact details and Bitcoin wallet address.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
1. Winners will be drawn randomly using a third-party random number generator operated by chainlink
2. The winner will be notified via the email address provided during registration.
3. If the winner cannot be contacted within five (5) working days or fails to provide the necessary verification documents (proof of identity), they may forfeit the prize, and an alternative winner may be selected.
4. Upon verification, the Bitcoin prize will be transferred to the winner's provided wallet. Weezdraw Ltd accepts no liability for errors in the wallet address provided by the winner.
6. Payment and Prize Distribution
1. Payments for tickets will appear as Weezdraw Ltd or a similar descriptor on payment statements.
2. The Bitcoin prize will be transferred to the wallet address provided by the winner. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that:
- The wallet address provided is correct.
- Their wallet supports Bitcoin transactions.
3. Weezdraw Ltd is not responsible for any delays caused by external blockchain processing times or any issues related to third-party wallet providers.
4. In the event that a cash prize is to be awarded, the cash prize will be transferred to bank account details provided by the winner. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that the bank account details provided are correct.
7. Liability
1. Weezdraw Ltd is not liable for:
- Losses caused by factors beyond its reasonable control, including market fluctuations in Bitcoin.
- Incorrect wallet details provided by the winner.
- Any taxes or duties applicable in the winner's country of residence.
2. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by the company's negligence.
8. Use of Personal Information
1. Winners may be required asked to provide photographs or videos for marketing campaigns. Consent for these materials can be revoked at any time before publication by notifying Weezdraw Ltd in writing.
2. Weezdraw Ltd must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Weezdraw Ltd will publish the surname and county of prize winners on Weezdraw.com. If you object to any or all of your surname or county being published or made available, please contact support@weezdraw.com. In such circumstances, Weezdraw Ltd must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
9. Governing Law
1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law.
2. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom.
3. If you are a consumer outside the UK, you may benefit from additional local consumer protection laws.
